This position is full-time. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher)
  • 3+ years of HEDIS Medical Record Review strategy, leadership, and execution experience
  • Advanced skills of HEDIS specification and audit knowledge for Medicare and D-SNP measures, with specific focus on HEDIS Star measures and health plan requirements for audit standards.
  • Prior experience in a role matrixing with Star leaders to drive Plan Star ratings
  • Ability to evaluate Stars and HEDIS performance on a contract level and implement tactical plans to maximize performance prospectively, and retrospectively during HEDIS MRR
  • Business analysis capabilities including high knowledge of Excel

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical mind, with problem solving and investigative skills required to dig into performance data, evaluate trends, and develop mitigation strategies to improve measure rates and meet Star targets.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of internal and external contacts. Role will attend meetings with clinical market staff and must be an effective communicator who can work within a matrix structure to drive results.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 - $142,600. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $87,900 - $156,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
