Team Teacher - Lead- Day Care
Responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child enrolled in a group
Required Education:
- Associate degree □ Preferred x Required
- Bachelor’s degree x Preferred □ Required
Required equivalent - (1) An A.A.S. degree in early childhood education or child development or an A.A.S. degree in any major with 12 semester hours in early childhood education or child development; or (2) A Level VI certification on the ECE scale; or (3) Any combination of (1) and (2) of this requirement. BSAC if working directly with school aged children.
Required Skills: 2 years’ verifiable early childhood work experience required; 5 years’ verifiable early childhood work experience preferred.
Required License/Certifications: NCECC, CPR, Pediatric First Aid, CRC Letter Qualifying to work in childcare, It’s SIDS (if working directly with children 12 months and younger, within 2 months of hire for all other staff). BSAC certification required if working directly with School Age children and may require WMC driver approval, if needed
BSAC certification and WMC driver approval if working directly with school age children.
