Cloud Strategist and Architect, Senior Manager with Security Clearance

In this role, you will provide oversight, strategic thought leadership, and innovative solutions towards maturing a federal agency's enterprise-wide cloud strategy, architecture, migration, and shared service capabilities. Leverage strategic and technical expertise to ensure successful adoption for department stakeholders. Engage with tenants to understand business and technical priorities and challenges and manage and enhance the processes required to triage, prioritize, and funnel tenant requirements for new capabilities. As a cloud strategist and architect, you will understand the advanced, enterprise solutions in the cloud that will serve as the shared tools for hundreds of applications to reduce operational costs and timelines. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely. You Have: * 10+ years of experience with large-scale, cloud-based applications, including cloud architecture, implementation lead, and strategy * Experience with Cloud Enabled and Cloud native solutions and DevSecOps * Experience with analyzing and reviewing IT investments and services to ensure they align with the business needs and strategy * Experience with coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future technology functionality for a platform as a service (PaaS) across a major government organization * Experience with containers, container orchestration, auto-scaling, advanced deployment models, CI/CD with GitOps, and pipeline customization * Experience with applying Agile Methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe * Ability to obtain a security clearance * Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: * Experience with AWS preferred * Experience with decomposing application components and determining how to leverage various technologies found with modern cloud services * Experience with service-oriented architecture, web services, and Application Programming Interfaces * Experience with taking disparate business problems and delivering the best technology solutions for large scale applications * Experience with Advanced Analytics, Data Science, including MI, ML, or RPA, Integration, API, Microservices, and User Experience * Experience with project management * Possession of excellent communication skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
