A financial services organization in New York City is actively seeking an analytical and hardworking professional to join their staff as their new Global Fund Finance Accounting Associate. In this role, the Global Fund Finance Accounting Associate will be responsible for quarterly close of BX deliverables.

Responsibilities

The Global Fund Finance Accounting Associate will:

• Oversee day-to-day activities related to the fund accounting and reporting of open-ended and closed-ended core real estate funds administered both externally and internally
• Communicate on a daily basis with third party fund administrator
• Coordinate with third party fund administrator on preparation of workpapers and supporting schedules for all balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Oversee LP onboarding and investor requests
• Coordinate with third party fund administrator on preparation of quarterly and annually fund partnerships’ GAAP financial statements
• Coordinate with third party fund administrator and auditors on year end audit process
• Update hurdle rate model for distribution process and prepare distribution schedules and coordinate all wire transfers to investors
• Coordinate with third party fund administrator on preparation GAAP capital account allocations and reconciliations
• Oversee LP onboarding and investor requests
• Coordinate with third party fund administrator on preparation quarterly fund management fee billings
• Participate in all system migration and implementation
• Coordinate with third party fund administrator on preparation capital call drawdown notice to investors
• Assist with ad-hoc projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 4+ years of public accounting or fund accounting experience
• Understanding of common industry performance metrics
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organized
