Senior Wiring Systems Engineer
Now hiring a Senior Wiring Systems Engineer in Auburn Hills!Trillium Technical is now seeking a Senior Wiring Systems Engineer for work in Auburn Hills, MI!
The Systems Wiring Engineer is responsible for designing and releasing prototype wiring harnesses and identifying and helping in procuring long lead components. Build detailed harness BOM, identify in lines and eyelets that are readily available, work with Prototype Build Engineering to procure long lead components and coordinate sample requests for component suppliers. Assessing and packaging harness design, providing technical interface to the advanced team and working with designers to develop harness packaging and resolve issues. Coordinate with designers and support teams to ensure all necessary teamcenter tasks are completed. Attend design reviews/coordination meetings. Determine the wiring effect for bulletins and product plan changes and provide electrical build support and troubleshooting onsite at build shops.
Wiring Systems Engineer Role:

• Other related technical degree with relevant work experience may be considered.
• Valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record.
• The ability to read and interpret multiple supplier wiring drawings.
• The ability to translate OEM wiring requirements in the form of schematics into 2D wiring drawings.
• The ability to translate EE requirements into a form that is easy for suppliers or management that may not have technical knowledge of the requirements but need to understand for effective decisions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft excel.
• A Plus+
• Electrical triage and debug skills for debugging vehicles often we are chasing ghosts due to supplier wiring errors or sometimes self-inflicted errors.
