Job Description:
As a Client Accounting Services Manager, your responsibilities will include managing client accounts and their service team, technical review of bookkeeping, month-end close projects, business, trust, and individual income tax returns with the ability to take tasks from beginning to end efficiently. This position allows you to engage closely with clients in an advisory capacity across multiple client engagements in various industries.

Job Description:
As a Client Accounting Services Manager, your responsibilities will include managing client accounts and their service team, technical review of bookkeeping, month-end close projects, business, trust, and individual income tax returns with the ability to take tasks from beginning to end efficiently. This position allows you to engage closely with clients in an advisory capacity across multiple client engagements in various industries.
- Job Duties:
- Responsible for monthly and quarterly financials for clients (compilations) - including consulting, cash flow management, invoicing, fixed assets, A/R, A/P, and responsive communication with clients
- Industry and Public Accounting Experience
- Experience managing projects and clients (i.e., heavy client-facing role and business development)
- Passionate and focused on a particular niche industry, ideally in one of the following categories:
- venture-backed start-up space (technology or medical device subsets are preferred)
- real-estate
- manufacturing / distribution
- Restaurants
- Prepare or review tax returns (1040, 1041, 1120 1065, 990, 1099)
- Perform review and write-up in Quickbooks Desktop, Quickbooks Online, Peachtree, and Xero for small businesses to prepare business tax returns
- Mentoring and training staff
- Onboarding new clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA designation
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting with experience reviewing and managing business and individual income tax returns
- Experience in accounting and financial reporting
- Proven ability to manage client engagements and relationships
- Ability to meet critical deadlines and handle multiple priorities
