The Demand Planning Manager will oversee the sales forecasting and monthly stock replenishment across all categories for Chantecaille Beaute globally. This role works in partnership with product development, marketing operations, and finance teams to build, challenge and publish comprehensive market forecasts for current and future products. They will incorporate forecast information gathered from sales, operations, stock availability and brand strategy. Ensure that the most realistic forecast incl. all standard planning activities to be executed. S&OP implementation and execution going forward monthly.
Responsibilities:
Demand Planning
- Maintain Demand Planning for all active and new skus in portfolio
- Forecast sell-thru and shipments using a combination of statistical models, key drivers, carefully monitor results to limit fill rate and excess inventory risks.
- Responsible for forecast accuracy & processes
- Review monthly forecasts and propose adjustments
- Prepare annual forecasts on novelties with local market team
- Lead S&OP implement additional KPIs and create stable processes
- Liaise between Marketing & Sales teams to ensure short- and long-term alignment across cross functional team to secure product availability
- Ensure a good communication & information flow between Market and HQ Supply Chain
- Lead monthly review of inventory policy and goals with Purchasing/procurement and Finance to support HQ objectives
- Collaborate with E-commerce team on product forecasting for e-commerce and sales plan construction
- Develop and improve all current reports and forecasting tool.
Allocation & Replenishment
- Monitor stock levels and take actions if needed
- Manage monthly supply planning of finished goods between MSL/BDM as needed
- Implement safety stock concept according to global inventory management guidelines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management
- Prior experience with a beauty brand in Supply Chain is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of Supply Chain, Planning or Forecast and/or related experience
- Understanding Demand and Distribution Planning principles
- Hand’s-on experience in dealing with 3rd party logistics partner and service level control
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in agile adaptive environments
- Tell a story through data: ability to structure and synthesize data and processes
- Expert level Excel is required
- Ability to work with databases, Power BI is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to understand all collaborators’ priorities and context, adapt communication to the counterpart
- Able to work independently and self-motivated
- Positive and open-minded in all interactions with counterparts, goodwill is a must
- Result oriented and deadline driven
