You'll be a key contributor supporting the Enhanced Mobile Satellite Services network environment such as routers, switches, circuits, firewalls (Palo Alto & Forcepoint), intrusion prevention devices, etc. As the Senior Advanced IT Network Specialist, you'll implement, support, monitor, and troubleshoot network issues being physical or virtual network infrastructure components and coordinate with team members and/or vendors. We'll ask that you participate as an active team member and to be knowledgeable within the different elements of the networking environment. This position is supporting the Enhanced Mobile Satellite Services (EMSS) program, a part of the United States Space Force. * Knowledge and experience in a single network domain and fully understands process applications within domain of expertise
* Working knowledge of BGP, GLBP, IPSEC VPNs (IKEv2 and ISAKMP), IP SLA and event tracking
* Working knowledge of Cisco routers & switches including ASR/ISR and Nexus/Catalyst, Cisco software (IOS, IOS-XE, and NXOS), Gigamon aggregators, Cisco ISE or ACS
