Secretary II PS (T) with Security Clearance

Secretary II PS (T) Position Description CGI Federal is seeking a Secretary II to provide principal secretarial support and maintain a close and highly responsive relationship to the day-to-day activities of the supervisor and staff. Your future duties and responsibilities
• Screens telephone calls, visitors, and incoming correspondence, personally responds to requests for information concerning office procedures, determines which requests should be handled by the supervisor, appropriate staff member or other offices. May prepare and sign routine, nontechnical correspondence in own or supervisors name,
• Schedules tentative appointments without prior clearance. Makes arrangements for conferences and meetings and assembles established background materials, as directed. May attend meetings and record and report on the proceedings,
• Reviews outgoing materials and correspondence for internal consistency and conformance with supervisors procedures, assures that proper clearances have been obtained, when needed,
• Collects information from the files or staff for routine inquiries on office program(s) or periodic reports. Refers non-routine requests to supervisor or staff,
• Explains to subordinate staff supervisors requirements concerning office procedures. Coordinates personnel and administrative forms for the office and forwards for processing. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Minimum of 1-3 years administrative experience required, experience in a government setting preferred
• Ability to obtain a Department of Justice waiver Top Secret or Secret Clearance Preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook Email and WordPerfect
• Administrative, organizational and coordination skills
• Ability to successfully complete a CGI Background Investigation to include, 50 State Criminal, Education, Employment, Credit and Driving Records Checks Education requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
