Qualifications for CNA- Certified Nursing Assistant:
- Minimum One Year Work Experience (Preferred in home health care)
- Active FL CNA license
- Current CPR certification
- Current Level 2 AHCA Background Clearance
Qualifications for HHA- Home Health Aide:
- Minimum One Year Work Experience (Preferred in home health care)
- 40 Hour Home Health Aide Certification
- Current approved CPR certification
- Current Level 2 AHCA Background Clearance
Job Responsibilities for Certified Nursing Assistants:
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Nail care
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance
