Patient Service Representative

Ajilon is seeking a Patient Account Representative. They are located in Overland Park, KS and are looking for skilled candidates to come on board to support client accounts.. Your medical knowledge will be put to use in this position!

In this job you will be taking calls from patients and answering questions. You’ll navigate payer portals, create log ins for insurance sites, and work with data. You’ll learn a new software program at this company as well.

• Handling calls from patients
• Confirming eligibility in insurance and payer portals
• Research medicare, medicaid and commercial payer information when needed


Qualifications:

• At least 1 years of medical billing/follow up experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Desire to work in a team setting

Skills:

• This is a fast-paced environment, your ability to catch on quickly is crucial!
• Ability to work on multiple screens at the same time
• Medical insurance knowledge
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation

Experience:

• At least 1 year of prior medical billing and collections experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology and systems

Work Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (some flexibility in hours)
