As a Data & Reporting Analyst, you will be empowered to support short and long term operational/strategic business activities; develop, enhance, and maintain operational data, models and reports that will have an impact on business decisions. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Business Stakeholders to support changes and enhancements to meet evolving business needs
  • Support short and long term operational/strategic business activities through Analytics
  • Use your analytical skills to collect/interpret data, solution, design, develop, maintain, and publish reports
  • Perform analysis, review, forecast, and trending of complex data
  • Develop automation, publication and maintenance of data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using tools including Tableau and Power BI
  • Design, develop and schedule SSIS packages as needed
  • You must be self-directed with ability to solve complex issues
  • Interact one-on-one and consult with all levels of leadership
  • Attend daily stand-up meetings
  • Break assigned work into tasks along with providing time estimates for each task

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working with relational databases and database structures (such as SQL, Oracle, Teradata)
  • 2+ years of experience developing in business intelligence/visualization software (such as Tableau, Power BI)
  • 2+ years of writing/developing SQL queries and stored procedures
  • 1+ years of experience using data manipulation software such as SSIS
  • Proficiency with MS Office (including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Experience with Alteryx
  • Experience with Snowflake
  • Experience with Agile project management and the CA Rally tool
  • Healthcare Industry experience (claims, management, and/or prior authorization data)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt in a challenging dynamic atmosphere
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem problem-solving skills

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
