Quality Tech/Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking for Quality Tech/Inspector. Ideal candidate m ust have at least 2 years of Quality Assurance experience in manufacturing environment.
Position Summary:
1. Be able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications,
2. Be able to use basic measuring devices micrometers, calipers, tape measure, and check gages,
3. Be able to interpret and fill out quality check sheets on the floor,
4. Be able to interpret part quality based on the quality check sheet,
5. Have basic computer skills in the use of Microsoft Excel & Word,
6. Have basic math skills.
Inspector duties will include:
4. Issue, when necessary, reject tags for: purchased materials, internal parts, & finished goods,
5. Perform sorting and rework, when necessary,
6. Have flexible working hours -- between the (2) inspectors, we always have at least one here while production is running.
Quality Tech
Qualifications:
2+ years manufacturing experience
2+ years in quality discipline and methodology
Stable work history
Ability to read and understand work instructions. Must be able to complete process paperwork as required. Mathematical aptitude a plus.

- Perform 1 st piece and last piece inspections,
- Monitor the floor and audit check sheets at the line to ensure the operators are checking their parts correctly and filling out documentation accurately,
4. Issue, when necessary, reject tags for: purchased materials, internal parts, & finished goods,
5. Perform sorting and rework, when necessary,
6. Have flexible working hours -- between the (2) inspectors, we always have at least one here while production is running.
Quality Tech
- Create control plans
- Perform hourly audits on production process
- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
- Read and interpret blue prints
- Layout parts for first piece material to customers' specifications
- Collect, inspect and salvage painted parts
- Hourly inspection for material and paint thickness
- Verify conformance of reworked parts
- Calibrating measuring devices
- Perform gage R & R
- Be able to use statistical software
- Keep order and maintain Q.C. quarantine area
- Update Green/Orange Tags daily
Qualifications:
2+ years manufacturing experience
