Summary of Role:

This role is responsible for both serving as the chief liaison and strategic interface between IT and one or more business groups/functions and program managing transformation initiatives, which require actionable strategy, efficient operations, and insightful analytics. The candidate will work with executive and management stakeholders across multiple Business and IT functions to help execute on a multi-year program to create a real-time enterprise built on a common data model and 8 end-to-end integrated global processes, enabling operational repeatability and scalability.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

  • Be a trusted advisor in developing integrated business and technology investment roadmaps that achieve business unit goals and objectives; and be accountable for business outcomes.
  • Focus on value over solutions. Emphasize value when developing ideas, evaluating risk, and evolving needs
  • Leverage internal and external resources to build knowledge and acumen of industry trends
  • Develop business capability investment roadmaps: Partner with business leadership and other key stakeholders to prioritize proposals based on predefined criteria (e.g. ROI, productivity, compliance, etc.)
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop annual budgets and multi-year projections for respective business groups/functions
  • Identify and surface strategic issues and opportunities in a clear and structured way
  • Proactively builds partner relationships to discuss risks and collaborate or gain buy-in on programmatic adjustments and action steps
  • Partner with leadership to deploy and operationalize the transformation governance model, including forums, stakeholders, scope, cadence, and RACI
  • Manage program interdependencies including ensuring design, build, test, and cutover remain aligned from a cross-program perspective. Prioritize and resolve resource and schedule conflicts across projects, IT, and business units.
  • Increase discipline on operational excellence through standard performance metrics.
  • Work with program managers to ensure consistency and interconnectivity across workstreams, including tracking via dashboards and other project management tools
  • Synthesize and surface risks, dependencies, concerns, and issues across workstreams to enable timely resolution
  • Support leadership in developing executive presentation materials

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Education (Bachelor’s Degree)
  • 15 Years of Experience
  • Please indicate % of travel – 10%
  • Fluency in English Language – written & verbal
  • The successful individual in this role has experience in program management in a complex program and is adept at synthesizing across multiple large-scale programs
  • Financial acumen and solid understanding of short- and long-term financial impacts as well as ability to frame business cases in a holistic manners
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Solid knowledge of IT organizations

  • MBA
  • Has solid experience to 'get one's hands dirty' to deeply understand and drive program deliverables, write executive presentations and manage interdependencies in a cohesive fashion
  • Highly organized individual that is excited to be fluent in key details of programs, and is a change activator adept at translating risks into action with cross-functional partners
  • Strategic Thinker that can discern patterns and trends, draw connections between disparate ideas, and is forward thinking
  • Possesses strong situational leadership with ability to adjust style to the need
  • Ability to lead with a mindset of delivering value to the company over delivering solutions
  • Strong relationship-building skills and experience working closely with senior executives and cross-functional partners to influence strategic agendas and operationalize key strategic initiatives
  • Partner with key business leaders to drive schedules and roadmaps to ensure successful implementation
  • Must be able to understand different stakeholder perspectives, goals and resources to build a cross-functional strategy and drive results
  • Experience with performing program management and roll-ups in a complex program management capacity; includes expertise in operationalizing program management governance and RACI
  • Ability (and tenacity) to clearly express ideas and arguments in meetings and on paper (i.e., great written and verbal communications skills)
  • Self-motivated individual that possesses excellent time management and organizational skills
