Director of Clinical Services Hospice (RN)

A home care agency in New Jersey is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their staff as their new Director of Clinical Services Hospice. In this role, the Director of Clinical Services Hospice (RN) will be have overall responsibility for the oversight and management of the clinical services provided by the interdisciplinary team (IDT) within the agency's hospice house setting.

Responsibilities:

The Director of Clinical Services Hospice (RN) will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the development of agency goals
• Developing, recommending, and administering agency policies and procedures
• Providing information for inclusion in written performance evaluations for all direct report staff
• Submitting written performance evaluations in accordance with policy requirements
• Handling other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Home Care and/or Hospice experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in a Leadership and/or Management role
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
• Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
