JOB SUMMARY
Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking full-time Local CDL A Drivers to work alongside Highway Maintenance Technicians and perform advanced maintenance operations in the Dallas, TX area during the day shift, mid shift, and night shift. This position is based in Grand Prairie, TX and requires performing a variety of tasks related to traffic control, highway maintenance, signs, guardrail and/or drainage and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures.
SALARY
$18-$21 per hour-Commensurate with experience

This position is based in Grand Prairie, TX and requires performing a variety of tasks related to traffic control, highway maintenance, signs, guardrail and/or drainage and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures.
SALARY
$18-$21 per hour-Commensurate with experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guardrail and Sign installation experience.
- Concrete forming/repair experience.
- CDL A license with 1+ year of driving experience
- Experience with roadway and highway maintenance preferred
- Exposure to using shovels, weed trimming machinery, brooms, & various small hand tools
- Must be able to drive daytime shift but will likely drive during night shift if needed (no night restrictions) and during snow and ice shifts
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma/GED
- Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)
- Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
- Ability to use smart phone and applications.
- Ability to adjust to changing work schedule
- Ability to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditions
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate hand/power tools
