This Opportunity
WSP USA has an immediate opening for an Operations Coordinator to support the companys growing Sustainability, Energy and Climate Change offering.
The coordinator will support the centralized operations functions of a rapidly growing national sustainability and resilience consulting practice. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally organized, embody strong communication skills and have experience supporting large teams in a variety of capacities. Candidates should be passionate about sustainability, self-motivated and self-directed, collaborative, and able to produce high-quality work products.
Location of the position is flexible: Boulder, CO, Boston, MA, Arlington, VA, Chicago, IL, Portland, OR, New York, NY, San Diego or San Francisco, CA.
Your Impact
Operations & Team Support
Work with team to ensure consistent processes, tools & resources are utilized across SECC, identifying areas of improvement
Implement process improvements and new SOPs developed by SECC Operations Manager
Keep SECC Operational Calendar up to date, including coordinating with internal stakeholders to achieve goals by deadlines
Work with SECC Operations Manager to organize & track recruiting materials, and report hiring progress to HR
Client Support
Support key SECC clients (initially 8-10) in their IT, project management, contracting, training and other needs, including regular coordination and communication between project teams and clients
Develop & maintain project dashboards for key clients including key project summary statements, growth opportunities and associated business development plans, including maintaining key client contact lists
Proactively manage multiple clients needs and ensure deadlines are met, including developing & executing implementation plans
Cross-functional Support
Support SECC team in project contracting and invoicing, including coordination with finance, legal and others across WSP
Provide onboarding support to SECC new hires, including coordination with local office administrators, IT and supervisors
Advise & support SECC team on IT best practices as we move to a new hybrid work environment
General Coordination and Logistics
Serve as liaison between SECC team and SECC Operations Manager and liaison between SECC team and all offices where SECC has staff, including regular communication & coordination with local office administrators
Organize, update, and maintain SECC resources, SOPs and documents on SharePoint
Support business functions & service domain teams as needed
Serves as SECC super user in IAS, PS2 and other platforms used by WSP USA
Plan, organize and execute internal and external SECC events, retreats and meetings with support of corporate travel team
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
1-3 years of professional experience
Experience in administrative or operations support and/or business consulting is required
Bachelors degree required. Degree(s) in organization management, business administration, environmental/sustainability management, or related discipline
Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate results via Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and related software and craft compelling presentations and reports
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience
Ability to develop and present analyses using programs including Microsoft Excel, Access, and Power BI
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects/project teams concurrently, and manage time efficiently
Ability to collaborate remotely across geographies and platforms
Experience supporting simultaneous projects and large teams, while prioritizing efforts
Ability to engage and support various stakeholders to improve operational processes
Compensation and Benefits:
WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employees career.
Expected Salary (Colorado): $59,000 - $106,400.
WSP USA is providing the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicants education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
