Food Court Runner/Dining Room Attendant

Job Description
SUMMARY

Delivers food court orders to each guest who have placed an order and has a number sat on their table. Keeps all dining tables clean after guest leave for the next guest. Keeps the self-serve condiment bar full and clean at all times thus making it eye appealing for guests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Runs all food orders from one or all food court outlets as directed by supervisor on duty.
  • Full knowledge of all food court offerings.
  • Keeps informed on any menu board changes that may have change on days off.
  • Greet guests as you bring them their orders.
  • Clean all tables ASAP when guests have finished and leave.
  • Empty all trash as needed keeping the self-serve bussing stations clean and neat.
  • Promptly deliver food order ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food court and service area.
  • Complete all required side work as assigned by your supervisor.
  • Other duties as directed by management.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed.


Experience and Skills
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ELIGIBILITY
  • Minimum age requirement for this position is 18 years old.
  • Posses or obtain OLCC Servers Permit within 30 days of employment.
  • Must possess Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.
  • Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
  • Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
  • Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.
